FINALLY
I wrote two articles concerning this in the past. In the first article I discussed how Marion Jones quacked like a duck. In the second article I discussed her testing positive for drugs. Remember, in that article there was a blanket denial from her concerning usage. Submitted by fortheinfo on Sat, 08/19/2006 - 5:55am.
My disdain for Marion Jones has a long history, but finally, her career should be over. Marion Jones failed a drug test from a June test at the United States track and field championships. Yes, none of this has been formalized. Yes, there is still a second blood sample to test. Yes, no one in an official capacity has made an official announcement. But this should finish the bitch's career. The odd thing is that Marion Jones tested positive for EPO , which is usually for long distance athletes. There aren't many professional athletes I despise. They can make as much money as they want. They can act as childish as they want. The only time I'll come close to despising an professional athlete is when they cheat. Marion Jones is one of those athletes, and it burns me up the press is treating her comeback attempts with such open arms. Yes, I know Marion Jones has technically never been found to have used enhancement products. Awesome for her. But what is that saying? If it smells like shit, it probably is shit? The Balco incident is recent enough history that she should have found a way to retire and move out of the sport. Instead Marion Jones is attempting a comeback, and it's not going very well. |
